Access Controlled Equipment

Page history last edited by Danny Walker 2 years, 6 months ago

Certain items in the space are fitted with RFID access controllers. These ensure that only members who are sure of their own competence in using a specific piece of equipment can use them. These are documented here: AccessController

In order to gain access to a piece of equipment, a demonstrator will have to verify that you are sure of how to operate the equipment safely. This demonstrator can then email David Pye, who will add you on to the approved users list for that piece of equipment. More information about the skills and knowledge you will be required to demonstrate can be found by clicking the link for each tool.

The list of people who can help with this lives on this page and should be kept up to date.
